our fall csa

This week has been full of excitement for me. Not only did these ladies move in, but we also got our first week of our fall CSA! Whats a CSA you say? It stands for community supported agriculture. It is a great way to buy seasonal produce directly from the farmer. Our first CSA was absolutely lovely. I couldn't help but smile the minute I drove up to the old farm house with a lazy dog out front and baskets and baskets of veggies just waiting for a family to pick up.

One of the great thing about the CSA is you get to try lots of different veggies. If that makes you nervous don't worry, they typically email you the weekend before and let you know whats coming. That makes it easy to plan your meals for the week and do some research on how to cook those lovlies.

Bok Choy
I have been wanting to try this Peanut Sauce Bento Bowl for a while now so it will be a first on my list to make this weekend.

With the roots I may try Potato Turnip Cakes and I love Kale Chips so I would like to try and do the same with the Turnip Greens.

Arugula and Basil
As much as I want to be creative I know I will most likely make this delicious Panzanella again.

I may splurge and make Jalapeno Cheddar Scones but I am also considering pickling them.

I am making a delicious Mostly Not Potato Salad.

I thought this Veggie Le Crunch looked delicious!
